JULIE FISHER, DIRECTOR

Callie, Julie, Royce, Jason and Colton

We want to introduce our new Director, Julie Fisher. Julie comes to us with a lot of experience in club administration and athlete development. Her passion is to provide females with the many benefits athletics has to offer. As owner/operator of Eastgate Chiropractic, she credits her success in business to those lessons learned through athletics.

Adam VanVogt, Coaching & Facilities Coordinator

Adam VanVogt and Family

Adam loves the sport of volleyball and has a strong desire to help grow the game in the LC Valley and surrounding communities. Adam has been involved with volleyball for over 25 years. During this time he has competed collegiately and coached 13 years of Varsity volleyball, 6 years of junior varsity, 9 years of junior high, and a year of club and is currently the Varsity coach in Pomeroy. Adam credits his growth as a coach to learning from experience and to strong mentors. Many of his former players now coach and he looks forward to helping SRJ coaches hone their abilities and helping SRJ be the best platform it can be for helping young players achieve their volleyball goals.

Reni VanLeuven, Tournament Director

Emi, Nate, Reni and Avery

Reni is Snake River Juniors' Tournament Director, responsible for scheduling and coordinating all details surrounding SRJ's home tournament(s). Reni has served as a board member since 2020 but has been involved with the club as a parent (and later a Chaperone) since her daughter Emi started playing for SRJ in 2015. It was through Emi's passion for the game of volleyball that lead Reni to becoming a board member with the goal to help support all athletes in their desire to play club volleyball.

Beth McKarcher, Website & Social Media

Addy, Mark, Jace, Beth and Emery

Beth is excited to be part of the SRJ board this year. She has been passionate about the sport of volleyball for over 30 years and has witnessed the many benefits of playing team sports first hand and through watching her 3 kids compete. She played Volleyball and Basketball collegiately and has coached every level of volleyball for about 15 years; from elementary kids just starting out to Jr. High to High School Varsity and absolutely cannot get enough of this sport! She wants to empower girls to become competitors and hopes to one day help build a program for boys to have the chance to compete for this club as well!

Ingrid Blinn, Membership Director

Ingrid Blinn and Family

Ingrid Blinn is Snake River Juniors' Membership Director, responsible for making sure all athletes, coaches, board members, and volunteers have submitted all the appropriate paperwork for USAV. She also manages the Offer and Acceptance process after try-outs. Ingrid has served as a board member since 2019 but has also been involved with the club since 2018 when her daughter began playing volleyball. Ingrid's stepdaughter played for the club from junior high to high school. SRJ was pivotal in supporting her as she prepared to play volleyball at the next level. Ingrid wanted to be able to give back for all the support her two daughters received (and are receiving) by volunteering with the club.

Tiffany Teem, Chaperone Coordinator

Leighton, Trinity, Landon and Tiffany

Tiffany, a native of Genesee, has lived in Lewiston with her husband and two children since 2002. Her son will be attending LCSC in the Fall of 2022 and her daughter will be a freshman at LHS this fall. Her daughter's love for volleyball has sparked Tiffany's excitement for the game and she has spent the last 5 years learning everything she can and volunteering where needs arise. Her newly found passion for volleyball has lead her to the SRJ board where she will be offering organization and support to the team Chaperones for the 2023 season.  She is excited to further and share her knowledge and talents with other like-minded parents and volleyball lovers!

Katie Whitlock, Secretary

Katie Whitlock and Family

Katie is happily married and a proud mother of four. She enjoys spending time with family, adventuring in the outdoors, and hunting. Although she played volleyball in high school, her love especially grew for volleyball as an adult when she began to coach and played on a co-ed team. She's glad to be joining the SRJ family and to be a part of empowering these young ladies to fall in love with the game of volleyball.
